# 4. Technical Evolution Roadmap

The technical architecture of WGA is designed to be chain-agnostic, ensuring it is not dependent on a single blockchain or a specific consensus mechanism..

The core objective of WGA is not the operation of a proprietary chain, but the expansion of a Trust Infrastructure where verification standards and proof structures remain consistently maintained.

**Current Phase: L2-Based Soft DePIN**

At its current stage, WGA operates a structure where verification logic is executed off-chain, and only summarized proofs are anchored to Layer 2 (L2) chains.

* Off-chain AI Verification
* On-chain Record of Summaries
* The Settlement Layer utilizes L2s such as Arbitrum and opBNB.

While this structure prioritizes initial operational efficiency, the core verification logic functions independently of the blockchain.

**Mid-term Phase: Proof Layer Independence**

Modularization of verification logic and proof structures.

* Proof Engine Independence

The engine that converts AI verification results into standardized proof formats will be separated into an independent module. This engine operates regardless of the chain environment.

* PoE (Proof of Event) Layer

Development into an independent layer with clearly defined rules for proof generation and verification. This layer functions identically across various chain environments.

* Multi-chain Settlement

Expansion to a structure that anchors to multiple chains simultaneously, rather than a single L2. This ensures the system is unaffected by specific chain failures or policy changes.

* Enhanced Version Control

Clear management of proof formats and verification rule versions to guarantee the application of identical standards in multi-chain environments.

**Long-term Phase: Potential for Dedicated Execution Environments**

If proof data throughput increases and network requirements become complex, the introduction of a dedicated chain or independent execution environment may be considered.

* App-specific Chain

A dedicated chain with a consensus mechanism specialized for proof verification. Frameworks like Cosmos SDK, Polygon CDK, or Arbitrum Orbit can be utilized.

* Independent Validator Set

A PoS-based consensus structure where WGA network participants (AI Nodes, Proof Nodes) directly participate as validators.

* Cross-chain Bridge

Enabling the use of proof data across multiple ecosystems through bridges between the dedicated chain and major L1/L2s.

* Custom Consensus
* A consensus mechanism optimized for proof verification (e.g., reputation-based consensus based on verification quality and consistency).

This does not assume the mandatory construction of a mainnet.

A dedicated chain can be created if necessary; otherwise, the L2-based structure can be maintained. Technical choices will be determined by network requirements and the need to maintain consistency in verification standards.
